Perfect golfing weather
brought out 18 ladies to the
weekly Tuesday 'evening golf
session. ' The new starting- set-
up was in force and seemed
to work out very well. All
names of those planning to play
are to be in to the pro by 6.15
at which time the draw is made.
The last foursome had teed off
shortly after 6.30, $o there was
no hold-up.
Mary Rouse and Jean Knight
tied for first low net, and Sally
MacEwan and Jean Papernick
tied for sedond low net. Verna
Worthy had the least number
of putts and Patty 'Evans the
most number. Hidden hole was
won by Olive Smith.
Refreshments, talk and bridge

read by Mrs. J. Lobb, and the
Bible study was taken by Mrs.
C. Tebbutt. Mrs. B. Walter
gave a reading. The 1Vlission
Study on. Trinidad was given by
Mrs. C. G. Park. The business
was conducted by the president,
Mrs. Lloyd Bond. The minutes
bf the previous meetings were
read by Mrs. Harry Cudmore,
who also read the corresiiond-
ence, in the absence of Mrs. Ii
Williams. The treasurer's re-
port was given by Mrs, Frank
McCullough. Mrs. D. E. Glid-
don reported for the buying
committee, and Mrs. E. Yeo
for the • supply committee. It
was passed that this year's bale
be sent to the Overseas Relief
Work Depot in Toronto. Mrs.
K. Harris r exported for the'social
committee on the ham and salad
supper. It was decided that a
report should be given at each
meeting by the flower and card
