the Work of missionaries down
through the years, how they

their world of telling the Love
of Christ in many countries
across the sea.
Mrs. Walter Shortreed of
Blyth thanked Mrs. Jack. She
bad been introduced by Mrs.
Nixon of Seaforth Barbara Kirk-
man Society.
.The president' of the Presby-
terial, Mrs. Wes Bradnock, was
in charge of the meeting and
the devotional period was taken
by Mrs. Donald Haines and Mrs.
Ed., Davies of Auburn. The
offering was received by Hensall
members, Mrs. Campbell and
Mrs. Schwalm and dedicated
with prayer by Mrs. 0. G. Ander-
son of Belgrave.
Mrs. R. S. Kerslake of Sea -
forth gave a report of a synod-
ical meeting held at Walkerton
which she attended as Presby-
terial delegate. The minutes
were approved as read by the
secretary, Mrs. Wilfred Sander-
son and the financial statement
was given by the treasurer, Mrs.
A. McConnell of Goderich. All
auxiliaries showed an excellent
increase in `givings throughout
the' Presbyterial Mrs. Mervyn
Lobb of Clinton was, appointed
delegate to the training school
to be held this summer at Belle-
ville. A message was read from
Mrs. 11. S. Burnham- of Sarnia,
the Synodical president.
The Presbyterial was invited
to hold their fall rally in Knox
Presbyterlgn Church, Goderich,
on September 14.
The secretaries of; the various
departments reported on their
activitieak Mrs. Alec Enright
of Goderich, the literature sec-
retary, gave a detailed, account
of her books which she . had,
displayed -for -alt -to 'see. Th
president thanked everyone
who bad taken part so well in
the meeting and `special thanks
to Mrs. Jack who had been an
officer of the' Huron n .Presbyter-
ial when she had lived at the
manse at Seaforth more than
21 years ago.
The meeting was closed with
a hymn, with Mrs. Agnew, as
organist throdghoot the meet-
ing. The benediction was pro-
nounced by the president of
the Hensall Auxiliary, Mrs. Earl
Campbell.
Afternoon tea was served in
the Sunday school room of the
church by the members of the
Clinton Auxiliary.
Huron 4-H Rally
A Huron County 4-H Rally is
to be held at Seaforth High
School at 8.30 p.m., on Thurs-
day, June 24. • Feature speak-
ers will be Dean N. R. Richards
of the 0.A.C., and Ross Wein,
a former Huron 4-H member,

aret Elizabeth Menzies, daugh-
ter of Mr.`and Mrs. Roz} Menzies,
Haileybury. The groom is the
son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Har-
rison, Goderich. ,
The bride Wore- a white Street-

feta and- a wedding ring head-
piece with brief veil. Her cor-
sage was of red roses.
Miss Joyce Menzies., sister lof
the bride, wore a two-piece
dress of turquoise peau' de soie
with white accessories and a cor-
sage of yellow roses.
Groomsman was. Ralph Harri-
son, Goderich, brother of the
groom.
For a reception held at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. Norman
Abraham, the bride's mother
wore a blue ensemble, with
matching hat, white accessories
and a corsage of Talisman roses.
The groom's mother assisted,
wearing a green ensemble,
green and white accessories and
a corsage of yellow roses. -
For travelling, the bride
chose a three-piece turquoise
linen suit topped with a white
coat, and white accessories. The
couple will reside in Stratford.
Guests from a distance were
Mrs. C. K. Gray, St. Catharines,
grandmother of the bride; Mr.
and- Mrs. --Earl.— Harrisonr Gode-
rich, parents of the groom;
Ralph, Brenda and Cheryl Har-

ney attended the graduation
exercises at St. Thomas -Elgin
Hospital on Wednesday where
Their granddaughter, Miss Mar-
tryn-Chamney, of-Wi-nghram, was
one of the graduates. -

The bride was' given in mar-
riage by ' her brother-in-law,
Gordon McCullough, Bramalea,
Her portrait gown of pear, de
faille was fashioned with a
scooped . neckline and three-
quarter length sleeves: Floral
appliques of Swiss lace out-
lined the empire waistline and
the sleeves, Back fullnessin
the semi -bell shaped skirt was
formed by unpressed pleats
which ?fell to a chapel train.
A tiara of crystals and pearls
held her petal veil of silk il-
lusion and she carried a cres-
cent bouquet of pink sensation
roses, stephanotis and ,trailing
ivy.
Mrs. Gordon McCullough,
Bramalea, was her sister's mat-
ron of honor and bridesmaids
were Miss Evonne Drennan, Lon-
don, cousin of the bride, and
Miss Gayle Feagan, Goderich.
They wore dresses of white
Swiss lace over pink norganza
with scooped necklines and brief
sleeves. A band of taffeta cir-
cled the waistlines and self
bows accented the back fullness
of the semi -controlled skirts.
Their pillbox hats of pink pleat-
ed norganza were caught with
veiling and they carried crescent
bouquets of pink -tinted baby
mums.
Groomsman was Bill Fritzley,
Goderich, and the guests were
ushered -by Don: McCormick -and'
Gordon Walters, both of Gode-
rich. .
The reception was held at
the Maitland Country Club.
Mrs. Johnston received her
guests wearing a dress of pink
peau de soie- over taffeta with
a lace bodice: Her -accessories
were white and- white carna

Hamilton, Toronto, London,
Kingsville and Goderich.
For their wedding trip to
Northern Ontario, the bride
changed to a white lace dress
accented by a green bow. A
white lace hat and white acces-
sories completed • her ensemble
and she wore a corsage of red
American Beauty roses.
They will reside in Goderich.
