enjoy the entertainment following official ceremonies which
were held recently. The program included a choral. group,

After refreshments the balance
of the evening was given-. up to
discussion of the Ladies' Invita-
4ion Golf Tournament to be
held .early in August. -
The sports and social com-
mittees are doing a good job
in .arranging these events arid
the response on the part of
the members has been quite
good, but will -probably be bet-
ter as ,the season progresses and

ers of Huron County which rid-

One difficulty standing in the
way of trade., with Britain is
the matter of consistent sup-
plies, he said.
"If. marketing procedures can
be implemented herein Ontario,
coupled with apparent trends
towardincreased production—
Ontario can develop a tremend-
. sly—increased-_share. a f-. the.
Britishmarket," he said. `_`To
do this, it is of the utmost im-
portance, I believe, to take one
more competitive step and that
is to establish—through the On-
tario Pean Growers Marketing
Board—our floor or support
price concurrently with the
time this procedure (or at least
the counterpart of this proce-
dure) is implemented in the
United States."
