ioned with a lace appliqued
b`'odice with lilypoint sleeves.
The skirt swept to a cathedral
train from a bow at the back
waistline. ,Her waist -length
veil of French silk illusion was
caught to a wedding ring head-
piece appliqued in matching
lace. She carried a bouquet of
sweetheart roses, stephanotis,
lily of the valley and emerald
ivy.

matching hat and wrist corsage
of pink and turquoise -tinted
carnations. The groom's moth-
er wore a floor -length jacket,
dress of pale blue embroidered
taffeta with white flowered hat
and corsage of pink roses,
white and pink carnations and
stephanotis.
For their wedding trip to
Muskoka, Temagami and Eu-
rope, the bride changed to a
rose -pink wool suit. Her ac-
cessories were black and pink
roses and white carnations form-
ed her corsage.

garden and pointed out how one
must work hard to keep life
'free from 'the "weeds" of sin,
hatred, jealousy, selfishness. God
meant man to live in His garden
and cultivate it with diligence
and harmony to the world. Par-
ents were advised to treat ' each
child's life as a garden and,
using the Bible as a guide, tend
it with loving care.

group had 'charge oT'the meet-
ing and contributed the lunch
and articles for the talent table.
.Mrs. Scruton presided for the
business portion of •the meet-
ing and- asked for the co-oper-
ation of everyone in making the
June meeting a success when
the V.M.S. and Ladies' Aid will
be entertained at a pot luck
supper.
