The Canadian Cancer Society is the . only national volun-
,tary health agency fighting Cancer; 'through' research, educa-
tion, and service. The main source .of funds is voluntary gifts
from the public, collected during the annual April campaign.:

Applying Cancer statistics locally, Goderich and District
have approximately twenty-two Cancer uses under medical
care. Approximately seven will die this year, and an estimated
fifteen new cases will be found, of which eight will be living
five .years. after treatment.
The mortality rate is high, but it has been reduced sub-
stantially though research and early 'dita:gnosis, so there is
hope, but we need your help.
