The chairman welcomed the
members and adherents . o the
meeting and voiced much de-

the Ladies' Aid for the effort

The minister, Rev. G.: L.
Royal, -was called upon; for the
report of the Kink Session., Mr.
' Royal asked . theassembly to
stand for a minute's silence in
honor of those whoahead advanc-
ed to higher service during the
year -1964. The silrence was.
concluded with a prayer fofi ee-
memilbranee and inspiration.
The Kirk Sesteon reported an
outstanding missionary., effort
during. 'the 'previous year with
$13,379.85 being raised for the
General Assembly Budget and
an additional- $3,442.69 for the
new congregation of Westwood,
Winnipeg. The total mission -
my" giving, apart from 'W.1Vf.S.
offerings, was _$16,822,'54. 'r1VIr.
Royal commented on_the excell-
lence of .-this - outreach and
stressed the ongoing need for
such endeavor in the year
ahead. Again Knox Church ac-
cepted a mission budget of
515,00.0.00. Therepb,rt paid
tribute to Robert Bisset, retir-
ed Clerk "orf ` Session,, tforr "1i,}s
quiet efficiency and, readiness

Mir. Royal commended the- com-
mittee which had overseen .the
Knox Spiritual - iCrusrade and
mentioned .• that the fruits of
this preaching mission were in-
tari,gible and would be experi-
enced for xn,any months to come.

pastor of Knox Church from
1933 to 1942, for'honorrable men-
