to $20,665.73, -which included a
balance carried over from the
preceding year of $900.73.
The year was ended with a
balance in the bank of $533.50.
In contrast with the 1063
financial statement, the receipts
for the General Fund for 1964
amounted to about $100 more
than that -in the preceding year,.

Women, Mrs. Clarissa AT: (For -
ler) Bettger, died on Eri,day do
Alexandra Hospital, aged 77.
years, after a seven -week ill-
ness.
Mrs. Bettg•er, '• who lived at
66 Montreal street in Goderich,
was the wife ooMilton Edward
Bettger, whom she married on
Novexmber 20, 1907, in New
Hamburg. -
Born xin "Wellesley, Ontario,
the daughter Iaf . the late , Mr.
and Mrs. ;George Forlear, -Mrs.
Bettger lived there ticlll. 1902
when she moved to New Ham-
burg where she made her -home
until 1910. From there the
fapi'hy moved to Monkton. Mx.
and . Mrs, , 3ettger retired -to
Goderich in 1962. She was an
active member of the North
Street United Church.
