picture by R. R. Sallows, noted photographer
artist of years ago. It was picked up at a
sale recently in Goderich. In left fore-
ground is Capt. Wm. Babb's Ocean House,
long gone, and showing above it the roof of
a building identified by Malcolm Graham,
Picton' Street, as the cooper shop of the salt

and the wooden elevator on its harbor side
comprised the plant of the Lake Huron and
Manitoba Milling Co. The low building with
