tic nomination meetings of same
years ago' to those of quite re-
cent years, which reflected "a
sitrange apathy." He wondered
.why and to what it,would event-
ually lead. He said he had
come to 'learn that there was
so very much more to the ope-r-
aitions of a township council
than that ,NOich he originally
believ.ed• to be the case.

Hold Workshop
At Knox Church
A workshop on Sunday School
teaching methods and opera-
tions, held at Knox Church Sat-
urday, was attended by more
than 75 Sunday School teachers
and superinVendents.
Children of the Knox Sunday
school were used during the
day's lectures to demonstrate
.teaching methods. The work-
shop '`Ivas sponsored by the
Christian education committee
of the ',Huron -Maitland Presby-
tery of the Presbyterian Church.
The chairman was Rev. Fred H.
churCh's new curriculum which
will' go -into effect 'next June.
