Monday faced'the dark prospect
Ary being charged on three

charge uf attempting to steal
gasoline.
He is Donald Jamieson, 16,
arrested early Sunday morning
by provincial police on' a charge
of ,alleged gas theft.'

At 9:25 p.m. Saturday, Stan-
ley Tapley of Cobourg street
repotted hiS 1960 Oldsmobile
had been stolen from in front
of the Red & White Foodmaster•
at Victoria street north.
•At 11:30 p.m. Saturday, Gode-
rich police received a report,
from foster parents that young
'Jamieson was missing

12:05 a.ni. Sunday .morn-
ing, a stolen car was reported
in. the_ Auguitine area
At 9:05 a.m."Suntfax,anorning,
the Tapley car was found near
St. Augustine.
Later Sunday morning, the
stolen St. Augustine car was
found In Benmiller, 12 miles to
the south.
A third car was subsequently

This car and young Jamieson
were both taken into custody by
authorities in Lambton County.
The youth was jailed. Hewas
scheduled to appear in a Sarnia

court Monday.
