ther and Daughter banquet of
the Auburn C.G.I.T..group was
held in the Sunday school room
of Knox Presbyterian Church
with about 60 present.
Bouquets and arrangements ef
spring flowers decorated the
S.S. room for ; the occasion.
After the dinner, ,which was
served by Miss Laura Phillips
and Mrs, Karl Tiechert, the pre-
-sident, Marian Youngblut, wel-
. comed the mothers and -guests.
The toast to' the Queen was pro-
posed by Diane Kirkconnell.

The Explorers
The Explorers met in the
Sunday, school rooms of Knox
United; Church with the chief
explorer, Linda Snowden, tak-

The girls were divided into
three groups, for a scavenger
hunt with the captains being
Marie Plunkett, Gail Seers and
Nancy Brown. Each team had
15 articles to lumt. Marie
Plunkett's 'team was ..the win-
ner: Relay races were held and
Gail Seer's team won. Other
games were enjoyed by the girls
and their leader's.

with Mrs, Lorne Hunking in
charge, The program commit-
tee composed of Mrs, James

planned a geography mateh.
The captainS chosen were Mrs.
Ted Hunking and Mrs. Elliott
Lapp. Mrs.,, flunking's team.

declared winner. Plans were
made for the next meeting to

Pioneer Threshers Will Now Add
Antique Cars To Annual Show
BLYTH.---414ron County Pion-
eer Thieshers and Hobby As-
sociatcon held its -first meeting
of 1964 in the Loyal Orange
Hall Blyth, 'Monday evening,
ay 25, with 25 Present. Presi--
dent Harold Turner, Goderich,
chaired the meeting.
The date for the 1164 annual
reunion was set for. Friday and
Saturday, September 11 and' 12,
in Blyth Recreational Centre.
Members'hi-p and admission
prices were diseussed.
The various 1963 committees
were accepted for 1964.- Two
new committees were set up,
one for antique cars with
George Ned R.R. 3, Walton,.
convenes and the other, model -
engines with Donald Snell,
Waterloo, convener. Any, of
the accepted conveners may add.
