The presentation of prizes
was then made, the various
winners having all been men-
tioned previously in former
issues of The Signal -Star.
Chairman Dan Murphy 'intro-
duced Eric Moore, president of
the. Farmers' Curling League,
and said the farmers' league,
was a real credit to the club
and would continu on an even
larger scale next season. He
added that the farmers were a
real credit to the curling club.
The winning. team, skipped by
was presented presented with the Court
Benmiller 86 C.O.F., trophy,
donated for annual competition
by that organization.
A round of • applause was
given Mr. and Mrs. Tom Jones,
managers of the 'club, for the
fine manner in which they ran
the club. On behalf of the
gathering, Mrs. Dan Murphy
presented flowers to Mrs, Jones,
while the curlers sang "For
He's a Jolly Good Fellow" for
Mr. Jones.
