toria School with the acting
president, Mrs. Bruce MacDon-
ald, in the chair.
The guest speaker for the
evening was Dr. Jack Leitch
Who spoke on the 'harmful ef-
fects of smoking. Mr. W. Cam-
eron conveyed thanks to Dr.
Leitch on behalf of the 'Associ-
ation.
Mrs. MacDonald announced
that the Home anti School, in-
stead of pre4senting pins to the
1904 graduates, would start '„a
Library, fund for Wetoria and
•Robertson Memorial, Schools.
Bean bags and three rubber
plants were:presented to the
prinbipal, Ralph Smith, by Mrs.
MacDonald.
The winners of the poster
centtlst sponsored by the associ-
ation ist, Brian Shear -
down; 2nd, Charlene Smith;
3rd, Janice Woods. These Win-
ners were, presented with gifts.

on the evening of February

though not new, have not been
seen locally before and it was
therefore not surprising that
this first exposure excited some
lively comment and some mixed
feelings.
