The stage' was given ` a • spring-like atmosphere. with gay flow,ers and a blossoming apple tree. All was meticulously done ' by 'the • United Church Women. Sterrett presiding, A. letter w•ass received -from the ,Children's' Aid Society, hanking them for gifts -donated• at Christmas;- A donation of $100 is to be sent to• the Ladies' Auxiliary Bursary Fund to be awarded in 1984;; Its was passed to send donations to the March of Dimes and the St. John Ambulance. SANDERSON'S MOTHER SUFFERED HIP FRACTURE Mrs. Mary Sanderson of Gode- rich; who has been visiting• here since Christmas at the home of 'her Son, M. L. (Mike) and Mrs. Sanderson, is' a• patient in .Vic- toria. Hospital, London, with 'a fractured hip. - Mrs.Sanderson is in her 88th year. The limb collapsed on her an Friday .and she .was re- moved • to London, . where she .underwent surgery on Monday. She came through the operation well and,her condition is as good as can the expected,. -:.Luck - • Registrations for September Kindergarten classes are now being received.
