judging event. He was a mem-
ber of the Huron County team
which won top spot in beef
judging.
70 Winners
The event saw 70- members,
including six girls, from one
club, the largest on record in
Canada, march onto the plat -

For 19 -year-old Mrs. Wilma
(Dale) Scott, RR 1 Belgrave,
the night was a memorable one.
For achieving the higt,hest score
in the county, 952 out of .1,000,
she won the C. S. MacNaughton
Trophy, donated by Ontario's
minister of highways, and the
Canadian Imperial Bank of Com-
merce (Blyth -Auburn branches)

Mrs. Scott had completed
ight projects -all with Guern-
sey calves.
Mr. McNaughton asked that
the trophy be presented by her

was Murray Scott, her husband,
who last year was named the
county all-round member.
Mrs. Scott's yoenger sister,

for dairy showmanship.

MARY ANN CAMPBELL
Miss Mary Ann Campbell, 89,
Goderich, died Thursday in
Alexendra-Marine-and General.
Hospital. She *--as a nfeloner
resident of Goderich anda
member of Knox Presbyterian
Church.
She leaves two sisters, Mrs.
W. T. (Margaret) Pellow and
Mrs. J. W. (Christy) Craigie,
both of Goderich; and a bro-
ther Donald M., Los Angeles.
A funeral service was held
Saturday afternoon at the Stiles
funeral home win burial in
Maitland cemetery. Rev. G. L.
Royal officiated.
