DUNGANNON, Nov. 12.
Some interesting facts regard-
ing the ,Foreign Bible Society
were brought out at a meeting
held in the Dungannon United
Church on Sunday night. Rev.
Andrew Brndjar of the Lon-
don branch brought a vivid
message to the interested con-
gregation.
Rev. J. A. sVeldhuis, the min-
ister, •conducted thee service:
The guest speaker, Rev.- An-
drew Brndjer, spoke of the vale
liable work being done—trans-
lating the Bible into 1202 lang-
uages. This is an increase of.
21 languages in the past year.
There are still more than 1000
languages into which no part
of the Scriptures has been trans-
lated, 'he said. Mrs. Lorne
Ivers is the secretary in this
area. As in other years, e l -
lectors will be appointed. A
colored film was shown of life
