count of the injury, This was
referred to the Public Works
committee.
Request Grant
Communications of a differ-
ent neture included a request
from Branch 109, Royal. Can-
adian Legion for the annual
grant of $1,000 in aid of the
pipe band which the branch
sponsors; a letter from Hon.
C. S. MacNaughton, Ontario
Minister, of Highways regarding
location of a traffic signal, this
subject dealt with in a •separate
news story in this issue.
The band grant was ratified
by council in committee later
in the evening.
Repair Grader
'Councillor Ken Croft, chair-
man of the Public Works com-
mittee was authorized to order
repairs to the town grader to
the extent of a new clutch,
