MANY AT ST, GEORGE'S
Faith, Not Fear, Bishop
Tells The Apprehensive
"Be not afraid, ye. Of little
faith," were the Biblical words
used by the Bishop of Hong
Kong at the Sunday morning
servh a of St. George's Anglican
Church for those who are con-
stantly apprehensive, of world
affairs.
In Canada to attend the
world-wide Anglican Congress
to be held at Toronto, Itrt. Rev.
Roland Owen Hall -said he had
noted in both Canada and the
United States a feeling- of fear
about atomic war, communism,
etc. His advice to these fear-
ing people . was to have faith
in God whose ultimate plah
would be for good.
"In Hong Kong, we are suf-
fering all the heartbreak and
misery of civil war, but out of it
has- tante victory and -faith.
Out of Sur suffering has come
triumph and victory for Christ."
In introducing the Bishop of
Hong Kong to the large con-
gregation, Rev. Canon K. E.
Taylor said.."We extend a very
gracious welcome to Bishop and

the church in Hong Kong, "It

Catholic Church.' We are part
of you and. started from The
Church of England Which has
now spread around the world.
"I come to thank you for
what you in Canada are doing
to help us in Hong Kong," he
stated. The Bishop expressed
gratitude to Canada for the
Canadian troops who came to
help the City of Hong Kong in
1941. ,He added that a section
of that city has since been nam-
ed, in honor of Canada's defence
of Hong Kong and that section
will be "Forever Canada." He

would be open to all people of.
all faiths in which to worship.
He told of how the church fed

day and the food included pork
from Canada. "More than half
our people are getting less than
