The requirements of the horses mouth aro
Seater than the nubile in general have ens m
idea of, for this reason, the unbar jaw being
from ono to two inches broadorthan theiilower.
In masticating their hay .and oats they wear
away the inside of the upper and the outsido
of the lower molars or jaw tooth, leaving sharp
edges to lacerate tho facial. muscles by the
upper and the tongue by the lower, and cause
side -pus lora, horses to stops short, tongue law-
less, and unpleasant drivers.. Young horses
from the ago of 3 to :5 should bo looked after
especially, as their tooth become very rough
and sharp about the (time of shedding, which
keeps thorn down in flesh. I am satisfied; that
by mytrefitment I can remove all diticultios
caused.by the mouth and teeth. I will operate
on any horse without hatter or bridle, and ,will
