Bronze mums decorated the
chapel of Knox Presbyterian
Church on Saturday, November
24, at two o'clock when Blanche
Allison became the bride of
Graham Mabon in a ceremony
performed by Rev. G. L. Royal.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Allison of
Goderich and the -groom's par-
ents are Mr. and Mrs. Samuel
Mabon of R.R. 1, Port Albert.
The wedding music was played
by Herman de Jong, Goderich.
Mr. Allison gave his daughter
in marriage. She chose a wed-
ding gown of white silk organza
over net with a sequin trimmest
lace bodice and lily point
sleeves. Her elbow -length, lace -
edged veil of silk illusion ••fell
from a pearl. tiara and she car-
ried a bouquet of red roses
caught with white tulle.
Miss Barbara •Allison, ' of Lon-
don, was her sister's maid of
honor, and bridesmaid was Miss
Donna Aberhart, also of London.
They wore identical .dresses of
gold silk organza in sheath style
with petal overskirts, and match-
ing headdresses. Their flowers
were . bouquets of yellow and
bronze mums. The bride's
nieces, Susan Costello and'.Vic-

27, in the Chapel of St. John's
Anglican Church. Ottawa, On-
tario. Rev. T. H. O'Dricoll. odic
dated. The , organist "was Mrs.
Tan McQuaig. Fall flowers . ad-
- erfied
d---oriied the altar.
'The bride, who -was given in
marriage by her father, wore a
street -length gown of white
satin, with a lace top, fashioned
with a fitted bodice and having
a scalloped neckline and three-
quarter sleeves. . Her shoulder -
length veil of tulle illusion was
held in place by a crown of
pearls and rhinestones. She car-
ried a white satin Bible adorned,
with two mauve • orchids - and
white streamers.
Miss . Joan Druce, as maid of.
'honor, wore a gown of yellow
nylon over taffeta, fashioned
with a fitted bodice, scoop neck-
line and short sleeves The skirt;
\was flared and she °wore a
ithatc sing bandeau and veil with
elbow length gloves and carried
a nosegay of yellow and white

The bride's mother was at-
tireda: in .,.a -.blue three-piece suit
of jers, y with a white hat„
matching accessories and a cor-
sage of white sweetheart roses.
Following the ceremony, a
reception was held in the. din-
ing , room of the St. Charles`
Hotel.

the winsome fiower girls wear-
ing •bronze shot taffeta dresses
with matching headbands. They
carried nosegays' of yellow and
bronze mums.
Groomsman was Charles Al-
lison, Goderich, brother of the
bride, and ushers were Joseph
Allison, the bride's brother, of
Kincardine, and Lyall Mabon,
the groom's brother, of R.R. 1,
Port Albert.
The bride's mother. 'received
her guests at ,.the Club Grill
wearing a brown brocade dress
with gold trim, a gold fur ,bat
and matching' gloves and' bag.
Assisting, the groom's Mother
wore .a beige jersey' knit en-
semble with matching . silk hat
and brown accessories.
For travelling, the bride
changed to a winter .white bro-
cade jacket dress trimmed with
white fur, a black net hat -and
black accessories. The young
couple will reside in Goderich!
Prior to her marriage the
bride's business associates at
the -Sheaffer Pen Company hon-
ored her at a shower.
Guests from a distance were
present from London, Clarkson,
Orillia and Seaforth.

The bride given in marriage
by her cousin, Mr. Sandy Nal tel
of Goderich was beautiful in a
floor -length white nylon gown
with rose designed appliqued
bodice with long finger -point
sleeves. • She wore a_ Brown .of
pearls which held her bouffant
veil and she carried' a glittering
cascade of red roses and white
miniature mums.
The bride's only attendant
was Mrs. Dale Grant orMalden.
She wore a yellow taffeta and
organza street -length govan with
yellow organza flower petal
headdress and carried a bouquet
of bronze mums centred by
yellow rose buds.
Dale Grant was best man.
The bride's grandmother, Mis
Thomas Sapdy of Goderich was
attired in a grey suit and wore
black accessories and a corsage
of pink carnations. The bride••
groom's mother, Mrs. Isabella
Stothard of Bellecreft Beach,
chose a powder blue lace dress
over taffeta with white velvet
cloche hat and white accessories
and wore a corsage of pink car •
nations.
The reception followed at
Anchor Inn, Riverside Drive:
For a trip through Northern
Michigan, the bride chose a
double knit navy and white
three-piece suit ensemble with
white accessories and a corsage
of red rosebuds. On returning
Mr. . and Mrs. Douglas Stothard
will make their home on Belle-,
creft peach, Colchester South.
Mrs. H. T^ Bradley,, Huron
road, visited her daughter, Mrs.
Thomas Woolvett of Sarnia and
spent a week with ger son,
O.P.P. Lloyd Bradley and fam-
ily of Sebringville where she
celebrated tier birthday.
The town of Sandwich in,
Essex County, Ontario, has be-
come a residential quarter of
the city of Windsor, across the
Detroit' river from the Ameri-
can city of that, name. Sand-
wich was first settled by . the
French as L'Assomption.

Ronald Charles Lockwood, 19,
Clinton. was fined $5,00 and
costs, or two days in jail, when
hepleaded not guilty to failing
to stop before entering a high-
way in Tuckersmith Township
on October 28.
Failed To Record
William Archibald Smith., 23,
Listowel, pleaded guilty to be-
ing the owner and failing- to
record changeof ownership of
a motor vehicle with- the depart-
ment, on November 1, in Morris
Township.' He was fined $10
and costs, or two days in jail.
Smith. also pleaded guilty to
failing to produce evidence \ of
insurance on the motor vehicle
when requested to do so on the
same date. On this charge h..

seven days in jail.
Multiple Charges
Norman Gary Lockhart, R.R.
3, Blyth, pleaded guilty to
breaking, entering and commit-
ting an indictable offence in
Wingham on November 13.
Lockhart also pleaded guilty to
stealing coins,. to the value of
less than $50, the property of
Cameron Billiards, Wingham,
