Funeral services '„were , held at the MacKenzie Memor- ial Chapel 'in Lucknow. Inter- ment was in Greenhill cem_e- tery. Duncan Alexander MacKenzie The death occurred in Wing - ham hospital on November 19 of Duncan Alexander MacKen- zie of Huron Township after an illness of some years. The fun- eral service was 'held on Wed- nesday of last week in the Mac- Kenzie Memorial Chapel, Luck - now, with interment in Lochalsh cemetery. He was 80 years old. Meeting The November sheeting of the United Church Women was held, at the home of Mrs. Martin with 10 Iadies present. The president opened the- meeting with prayer and hymn 400 The Scripture Was read by Mrs. Bogie. Reports were read and adopted. Shut-in calls and thank you cards . were given. • Plans were made to send out Christmas cards and gifts. The financial parsonage report Was given by Mrs. ,Dickson. The study book was given by the president. After the meeting was .closed, the hostess served a dainty lunch and a social half hour was spent.
