Threshers Meet
BLYTH, 'Oct. 31. — Huron
Pioneer Thresher and Hobby As-
sociation held their first annual
meeting and banquet in Mem-
orial Hall, Blyth on October 30.
The president, Harold S.
Turner, Goderich, who chaired
the event, stated: "The Huron
pioneer threshers' reunion held
at Blyth Septemher 7th and 8th
was a decided success andAr,e-
ated a' decidedly increased in-
terest in museum and antiques.
It proved the need for the as-
sociation. It also proved that
men are just grown up boye
and no matter What you are
intere,ted in you will find
kindred spirits."
It was decided to hold' the
1963 reunion in Blyth Recrea-
tional Center, at approximately
the same date, early September,
-a nd it- will- -be - a- -bigger-- a-nel-
better show.
The various committees gave
their reports, and the treas-
urer's financial statement show-
ed a gratifying 'balance.
There are approximately
1,500 members in the Huron
Pioneer Threshers •and Hobby
Association.

Station, Wingham, brought
greetings.
Miss Anna McDonald, wo-
men's editor of CICNX, sang
several much appreciated solos.
