the hall itself, the Jurnishings
and equipment are all now free
of debt. There is still cOnsider-
able work to be done on land-
scaping the grounds, and the
pillars, and the Hall board will
meet soon to make plans to
raise more money to complete
this project. No date bas been
set for the official opening but
it will be held early this fall.

Taylor, reports that three don-

A family reunion was held
at, the i}o ne of Mr. and Mrs.
Roy Petrie, of Port Albert on
Sunday, August 12th, celebrat-
ing the birthday of their mo-
ther; Mrs. Eliza Petrie,'of . Gode-
rich. Mrs. Petrie, who is in
her 84th year, is enjoying ex-
cellenthealth. Attending the
reunion were- members of her
family from Toronto, Vienna,
Detroit, Goderich, : Gjinton, Kin-
cardine, Dungannon, Nile, and
the bride and groom, Mr. and
Mrs,. »Norman Petrie, of. Cboks-

,relatives in town that Mr. R. F.
Johnston, of Kelstern, Sask-
atchewan; 'had suffered a heart
attack this week. Mr. John-
ston and his wife, the former
Edna Hiekingbottom, of Au-
burn, had recently returned to
their `home in' the west follow-
ing a six-month stay In Gode-
rich.
