Midland, spent the weekend
with Ur. and Mrs. Alvin Bet-
ties.
Rev. C. E. Taylgr, Goderich,
conducted the service at Grace
Church last Sti'iday. Next week
there • will be neither church
nor Sunday school.
Mrs: Reid Torrance, Kippen,
visited Mr. and Mrs. Harry ,Tor-
rance on Sunday.
Alvin Betties' Barbal Farm
was one of the points of inter-
est visited by Brant County
Jarmeis on their Tuesday bus
trip to Huron County.

The U.C.W. met in the school-
house on Wednesday afternoon
of last week. Mrs. Barrie Wal-
ter planned the meeting. The
Scripture lesson from the 13mit
chapter of Romans was read by
Mr's. William Snyder. The de-
votional reading was taken by
Mrs. Walter. - It was planked
to have the picnic the -first
Wednesday in 4ugust at 'Gode-
rich and to . entertain the Port-
er's Hill ladies. , Mrs. George

Whiteley and Mrs. P. Harrison
were appointed the sports com-
