vocal duet. Mrs. Robert J. Phil-
lips was the accompanist for
the afternoon. Mrs. Lloyd
Young gave a reading. Rev,
Robert Meally sppke on "Pray-
er." Mrs. Orval McPhee read
an article from the Living Mes-
sage in keeping with the meet-
ing. Mrs. F. Clark thanked all
who had assisted her with the
meeting and welcomed all to
her home. The president, Mrs.
George Schneider, took charge
of the business period. Minutes
were approved, as read by the
secretary , Mrs.' John Daer. In•
the corfespondence it was 'de-
cided to accept the invitation to
attend the special meeting at
.Westfield. In the absence of
the treasurer, 'Mrs. Gordon R.
Taylor, Mrs: Meally gave the
financials report. The hostess
with her daughter, Mrs. Lawr-
ence Nesbit. served lunch.

' The W.M.S. of Knox Presby•
terian Church held their June
meeting at the hoarse of Mrs.
JQnaid_.Haines. The president.
Mrs. Wilfred Sanderson, was in
charge. The devotional period
was in charge of Miss Minnie
Wagner. The offering was re•
ceived by Mrs. Alvin Leather
land and dedicated by Miss
Wagner. Mrs. EdA kpavies read
a report of the' Synodical .rridE"i=
ing held recently at Hamilton
The minutes were read by Mrs.
Alvin -Leatherland, who also
gave the financial statement..4A
letter 'with a donation of money
was read, from .Mrs. Catherine
Dobie. Mrs. Donald Haines
thanked . the ladies , for the
cookies which they supplied for
the„f;.O.C. rally. ” The members
voted to give a donation of five.
dollars to assist with the D:V.
B.S. this year. It was decided
to- hold the, next meeting on
July 19th .in the Sunday school

Church to hear the regional"

Hackett's Church, give a force-
ful message on. "The Church."

Church Women's groups, Knox
Presbyterian W.M.S., St. Mark's
Anglican Guild and the Bap-
tist Church, Auburn. The
guests were welcomed by Mrs.
Lloyd Walden • and Mrs. Gerald
McDowell who pinned flower
corsages on each guest. They
were' ushered by Mrs. Roy
Noble and Mrs. Alvin Snell.
Quiet organ music was played
by Miss Jeanetta Snell, who also
accompanied' for the . hymns
during the meeting. The presi-
