George H. Jefferson, principal

denly after a brief' illness.' • In-
terment was in Clinton ceme-
tery. •
Last November 4 he was hon-
ored ata reception by 600 form=
er pupils from across Canada
and parts of the -United States,
and presented with a holiday
trip to Europe which he and.
his wife were to have taken
this summer. r
In 'addition to being named
honorary• mayor for the day, he
was presented with a Kimball
Foundation award in recogni-
tion sof his contribution to the
