CORNER, Dec. 18. —The Woman's Association met for their Christmas meeting at the hone of Mrs. Barrie Walter with a splendid attendance. -The president conducted the meet- ing which included Christmas ,carols and the Christmas -story. The members brought - in a shower of gifts for the cancer cupboard. Rev. W. C. Smith - conducted the election of offic- ers which remained practically the same as last year, except for the president. A commit- tee of four was named to bring in a president for the January meeting,. The meeting closed with .a Christmas prayer and the Mispah benediction. At the close of the meeting the members exchanged gifts and a social time was spent over the tea cups. The hostesses were Mrs. E. Rodges and Mrs. George Ginn. Christmas Concert Presented The teacherand pupils enter- tainedthe community to a very tine Christmas concert -. on Thursday evening. Rev. W. C. Smith was chairman for the program which included chor- uses, recitations, dialogues and skits. Of course, Santa' arrived at the conclusion with gifts and candy for all the children. Mr. and Mrs. William Cud - more and family, Brantford, 'were recent visitors with the latterr's ,.parents, 1VIr. and Mrs. Roy Wilson. Mr....Thomas Horton. and son. Jerry, of Blue Bonnet Raceway,. Montreal. visited - with his sister, Mrs. P.
