Leaving New 'Fork ,on June 25, they went t to ..London, Eng- land, n -land, Paris, Rome - and Cairo. On July the fifth, they visited the famous -Egyptian museum with, its magnificent King Tut ,treasures, and • took a sail -boat ride on the river Nile. The . longest stop.- of the whole trip. was in Jerusalem, Jordan, for a week from where they visited other places of Biblical interest. From Damascus to Jerusalem - they crossed the border from Syria and one of the stops along the way was 4mman, capital of Jordan. Ilere the group enjoyed ' one of the Marc privileges— that of 'meeting King Hussein. of '.Jordan. They were received and briefed by him in his Ralace. Before they reached J'erus- ' alum, they visited Jericho am the Dead Sea where the tem- perature was 120 degrees. Dir- ` ing the week., they visited the Mount of Olives, The Garddn Tomb, Bethany, Hebron. Belli- ' lehem and many other familiar places named in the Old and New Testaments.
