to the annual tournament for

each receiving a silver butter

This is the seventh year this
trophy has heen in competition.
In 1955, it was won by a team
from Stratford; 1956, Wingham;
(Mrs. A. Townsend, skip, Mrs.
George Baechler and Mrs. Wal-
ter Rathburn); 1959, Forest;
1960, Sarnia.
The Goderich Ladies' LaWn
Bowling Club has been active
for over 30 years and. has a
membership of, 43 ladies. The
club, under the President -Mrs.
Donald Riehl, served lunch' to
the visiting clubs from London,
Seaforth, Wingham, Forest and
Sarnia.

Mrs. Harvey Rieck, of Baden,
Ontario, passed away Friday,
July 14, at Kitchener -Waterloo
Memorial Hospital in her 69th
year. Funeral services were held
Meinday, July 17, in the Ratz
and Bechtel funeral heme, Kit-
chener, with interment' taking
place in the Mennonite cemetery.

The late Mrs. Reick is sur-
vived by her husband, four sons
and two daughters. Attending
their mothen funeral services
were Lawrence (Larry), of Gode-
rich; Clayton and Edward, of
Watetloo; Elgin, of Baden; 'Mrs.

Waterloo, and Mrs. calvin

Their mother was predeceased
by two infant daughters..
, Mrs. Reick was born, at Kos-
suth, Ontario; -near- Hespeler.

The funeral service was held
on Monday at Mr. Elphick's late
residence with the MacKenzie
-funeral home of Lueknow in
charge. Burial was in Greenhill
cemetery, Lucluiow.
