John Templeton, Michigan, who
have . friends in this district,

residence of Mr. and Mrs. '1'. C.
Anderson. The latter couple
plan early next month to travel
to Western Canada for an ex-
tended visit. We wish them an,
enjoyable trip and safe journey
back. Carman .had a clearing
auction sale of stock and imple-
ments a few months ago and has
made arrangements for the
crops and pasture.

Mrs. F. Saunders gave a read-
ing on "The origin of a hymn."
A reading by Mrs. Wilson, "The
Black Madonna," was a heart-
warming story.
The program for the Septem-
ber meeting will be in charge
of Mrs. H. R. Hall.
