The lazy days of slimmer are over for another Srear
and fall is with us once again with all its bustle and
a. tivity. The children are back nt' school, business and .
social activities are in full swing, and folks everywhere;.
are busy making plans for the coming season. Haven't
you found during times lik'e'these that the telephone is a_
pretty- indispensable item? Just think of all- the. earls
you make in a day. Perhaps it's a good time now before
you lose yourself in the bustle of fall activities to think
about your telephone service.: Have you considered the
saving in time and steps •that a conveniently -located
extenan phone will afford you? Take the kitchen, for
example—where the busy housewife spends most of her
working. day -an .extension here will enable the lady of
-the Tiouse to keep in' touch witli ou Siete activities UM-11—
the.
M11`"`'the minimum interruption .in her work. Why ,,lot talk it
over with us; we'll be happy to advise you. Remember,
the cost ,of° an extension is small and you have nine lovely
colours 'to choose from . . . colours that will enhance the
beauty of your home.
Have you •ever wondered what is inside the walls of .
the building on Blake Street with thea -name "13el1 Tel--
phone Company" over the door? An opportunity is corn-
ing for you to see the inside of the building and the equip-
ment that provides telephone service for you9 You can
also meet many of .the people, who help in providing and
maintai•ning thin service. Yes. next month, we are having
open hduse at our new dial exchange -building in Blake
Street. Watch for the date on your -invitation.
an important thought in closing. September
is the month when. ciur youngsters are. starting• back to
scl':')l. Some of thein are very young and not always
alert to the hazards of..trarnc. Most of us.have little ones
who are near and dear to us, so let us think of thein as
t drive tlira`ugh the streets of our town.
