Memorial Service.— The an-
nual memorial service at Hope
Chapel -cemetery, Hullett Town-
ship, was held on the grounds
last Sun -day with Rev. H. Funge,
of Londescboro, fie charge of the
program. After the call" to wor-
shap the doxology was sung fol-
lowed by the hymn "O God Our
Help In Ages Past." The Scrip-
ture was read and .prayers fol-
lowed. Mr. (George Cowan paid
tribute to a (fallen soldier, the
late Norman Hunking, and plac-
ed a wreath in (his memory ,for
giving the supreme sacrifice for
his country. - The hymn "Faith
of Our Fatheos" was sung and
an inspiring Message was given
by Rev. Funge. The clos-
ing hymn, "Abide With Nle,'--'
was sung and the service was

FROM A HEART ATTACK
Dr. W. - Shettwoode Fox, who
.has been a patient in 'hospital
here for the -past ten days, is
reported -coming along well,
though if medical advice is fol-

Church W,A. sponsored an even-
ing service Sunday with Rev. T.
Richards in charge ,assisted. by
Rev: R. Sweeney, Auburn. The
special attraction for -the -ser-
vice was Mr. Ross (MacKay, Lon-
don, a chalk artist, who drew a
beautiful, scene and with 'a set
df colored light bulbs gave dirf-
ferent effects. IMrs. Ross, with
