The theme of the de- votions was World Refugee Year with Mrs. 'Norman Durst reading the Scripture and prayer. Mrs. Archie Swain, the president of the W.M.S., presided for the business part of the meeting. The study" book was taken by Mrs. A. M. Straughan, who also outlined the many obstacles faced by the native Arrioans to- day. Of interest also, is the reeent report from the supply secretary, Miss Annie Baxter, which stated there were some 18 blankets and seven baby Mani on -hand- .:sfrirm_�rthe. spring ,old 'woollens project. Five minutes were given to the literature secretary for a book review and exchanges. Correspondence and announcements of the Pres- bytery meeting and Leaders' School were also read.
