C. R. Gower, of Petrdlia, in the presence of the congregation and .members of other churches. The sermon was preached by Dr. D. A. Burns, Toronto, super- intendent of home missions. Others taking part Were Rev. Jack Farr, Mount Brydges; Rev. George Billings Strathroy, and Rev. D. Itopp, Poplar Hill. George Robertson, chairman of the board of deacons, read the formal statement of church ac- tion prior to the induction ser- vice. In the induction .service the now minister accepted the re- sponsibilities of the charge, and the members of the congrega- tion pledged him "all due honor, vncouragement, and obedience in the Lord."
