A flashing light is to ,replace
the wig -wag warning at the CNR
crossing on Huron road. The
Board of Tran.sport Commission-
ers has notified the town coun-
cil that the railwaS, has been
ordered to instal the light with-
in 12 „months, and that 80% of

met from the, federal grade
crossing fund. Allocation of the
remainder will be subject of a,

OBITUARY
MRS. MARY BLACK , 1
• Mrs. Mary Black died at Alex -1
andra Hospital on Friday last'
following a long illness. She
was 86 years of age and was
born in Goderich. Her parents'
were the late Mr. and Mr. John
Sproul, of. Goderich. She was a
member of the Octogenarian
Club and Knox Presbyterian
Church.
Rev. R. G. MacMillan officiat-
ed at the funeral service on
Monday afternoon at Lodge fun
eral home. Interment was. in
Maitland cemetery. The pall
'earers were Messrs. „Gerald
Carnal, Raymond Gray, Robert
and William Blnk.
Surviving ar., three 'daugh-
ters, Mrs. J. A. (Nellie) Chap -
Man, of Woodstock, Mrs. Jack
(Olive) Covits, Fraser, Michigan,
and Mrs.dreneCarrall, of Dear
born. Michigafi',"-and one on,
William, of Dearborn, There are
also • 13 grandchildren and 35
great-grandchildren. The late
Messrs. Matthew, David and
William Sproul, of Goderich,
were brothers of the decased.
