ial and knee injuries while

Anniversary
A happy oceasion was observ-
ed on September 23rd at Mac-
Kay Hall, when Mr. and Mrs.
Wm: Bolton, Keays street, cele-
brated • their 45th wedding an
niversary.
A card party and dance Was
enjoyed by all present. Neigh-
bors from Colborne Township,
Goderich Township and Clinton
were present; also the • many
fiend a and neighbors the couple
have 'made since moving to
Goderich five years ago. They
were the recipients of many
lovely gifts, flowers and cards.
Mr, and Mrs. Bolton have one
on, George of Goderich and a
daughter, .Willa, (Mrs. Harry
Williams), of Holmesville. They
have two granddaughters,
Sandra and Bonita Williams. .A
half-sister, Mrs. Melvin Martin,
also resides in Goderich.
Music for dancing was sup-
plied by Mr. and. Mrs. Bert
Jackson and Edna, of Myth. -

OBITUARY
MRS. MABEL McELROY •
Mrs. Mabel:McElroy, 85, who
was born in Goderich in 1874,
died at her home, 1184 Virginia
avenue, Lakewood, Cleveland,
on September 24, Funeral • was ,
on Saturday at St. Peter's Epis-1
copal Church, Lakewood, Cleve-
land.
Her husband, Capt. Wm.
McElroy, Who was captain of the
Pittsburgh Steau”hip Lines, pre-
deceased- her. in 1944. "they
were married , at Port Huron,
but moved to Cleveland in 1918.
Mrs. McElroy's ftl.ther was Capt.
Alfred P. .Chambers, of Gode-'
rich, who lived in Goderich for':
many years iv,' a Great Lakes;
captain. Her mother was Eliza-
beth Craig, a relative' .of the
Craig and Parson. families in,
this area.
Surviving is one sister, Mrs.
Raymond Bouslog, Fort Lauder-
dale, Florida, three married;
children, five grandchildren and
