Proposals, counter -proposals,
and plans made at a somewhat
stormy first sheeting of the
Goderich Little Theatre Group
during September-, resulted in
at least one common point -of -
view ---that the Little Theatre
Must 'prpmQte ' a community ef-
fort of powerful.appeal to the
interest of the public in live
amateur theatre.
The call has gone gut for new
members, more interest from
old members, and lots of work
for everyone. Tp start the ball
rolling, casting and rehearsals
for a Kenneth ,Horne comedy,
to be presented next month, are
already well under' way.
To provide interest for mem-
bers not directly connected with'
this production plans are being
formulated for one -act plays,
sketches, and further. TV work,
to supplement the play under
rehearsal.
The Little Theatre meets next
Wednesday, 'October "nth, at 8
p.m. in the MacKay Hall. The
one, qualification for member-
ship is enthusiasm. —By A.S.
