The weapon, a 16 -gauge shotgun,

asked possession of the town hall

but none of. the members showed
grief over the parting. -

this -council chamber has ;been
used for the deliberations that take

town today they have been well

and if the remodeling caused any
damage. the town should look after
it."

summer- wedding on Saturday, Aug-
ust 25th when`Rev. D. A. Timpany
united in marriage his ,niece, Ruth.

ert Gerald -Volland, of Goderich.
The bride is 'a daughter of Mr. and
-Mrs. Murray Timpany, R.R. 2, Ayl-
mer, and the gcoom is a son of Mr.
and Mrs• Ema heel Volland, Cam-
bria road, Goderich. Mr,James
Mathews, of 'X'illsonburg, presided
at the organ and accompanied Mr.
Kenneth Schultz as he sang "The
Wedding Prayer" and "Because."
The , bride wore al. floor -length
dress of white appliqued silk or-
ganza, with round neck, long taper
ing: sleeves and a finger-tip veil with
a crown of sequins and pearls.

was matron of honor and Miss.
Laura White and Miss Joyce Bos-
nell, nieces of the groom and Miss
Barbara Johnston were bridesmaids

trip to New England, States and
Eastern Canada, the bride wore a
white linen sheath dress with red
accessories and a corsage of red
carnations.
The groom's parents, accompan-
ied by Mr. and Mrs. Harry Bosneil,
Mrs., Grace White , and family, of
Goderioh, attended the wedding as
well as guests from London, Zurich,
Brantford, Aylmer, St, .„Thomas,
Toronto, }Cornwall and Mt.
Clemens.

fective brakes, one headlight and
generally was in dangerous condi-
tion. Kerr, k$, had six previous
traffic convictions, including one
for defective. brakes ' He was finned

driving a car- in dangerous condi-
tion, 'and $5 for creating an un-
