Be- ind President of Midhigan Orchid Society, she has had the opportun. ity •of visiting orchid growers all over the United States. While not all would remember the names, all were delighted with the color- ful pictures of ,the ones she grows in her own home. Most of the ladies felt it might be an expensive ' hobby but after seeing the pictures -N. felt if they were 'near Mrs. Harri- saon, they might get a few "slips" as' some of the, pots were so full. The beauty of the flower's .was dazzling. She said it took five years to get •a plant to the bloom- ing stage. Mrs. Harrison invited the ladies, to drop in and see. her rose garden any time while in ,Goderich. Roses are her summer hobby. The program then took on a more serious turn, maybe humorous at times.s Mrs. Ben • Chisholm gave a very well prepared. and interesting motto -"Don't let your wishbone be Where your .backbone should." This wasfollowed by the roll call, "A good way to reduce." Lunch, convened by the Saltford group was clear tea, with orange sections on a lettuce ,leaf.
