Edward Bowers, ' on Wednesllay
night, June 24, at Lodge funeral
home.
Mr. Edward 'Bowers was a son
of the late Mr. end Mrs. John Bow-
ers <formerly Elizabeth Kitson), of
74 years of age. After his mar-
riage to Mamie Allen he farmed
in the, Dungannon area until he
retired to Goderich Some years agp.
Rev. S. A. Moote, of Victoria
Street United Church, of which de-
ceased was an adherent, officiated
at the' funeral services at Lodge'
funeral home. on .Thursday last.
Burial was in Dungannon cemetery.
The' pallbearers were Messrs.. Wm.
Snazel, Wilfred Peachey, Alex.
Macaulay, Jos. ' Gillis, Leonard
Rivett and Edward Lee.
Besides his wife he is survived
by two sons, Edward, of Toronto,
Gordon, af Goderich, and ten
grandchildren. There are also two
sisters, Mrs. Edna Perry and Mrs.
Lillian Hoffman, and a brother,
William, all of St, Thomas.
