was discussed and the annual pic-

Lizzie group in charge. Mrs. Oliver
Anderson presided fpr the, devo-
tional period. Miss. Elliott Lapp
read the Scripture, Mrs. Fred
Toll led in meditation and prayer.
Mrs. Lapp, introduced the guest
speaker, Mrs. E. McLagan, of Blyth.
She related some of her experi-
ences ,as a bride in the mission
:field' north of Sault Ste. Marie.
She also showed pictures taken in
that district. :Miss Elma Mutch
extended a vote of thanks to Mrs.
IMeLagan for her interesting ad-
• dress. A solo was sung by Mrs,
Emerson Rodgers. The offering
wasreceived by Mrs. William
Dodds and Mrs. James Jackson.
The president, Mrs. Arthur Grange,
took charge of the business period.
The delegates to the semi-annual
meeting held recently at :Moncrief
United Church, Mrs. Lawrence
Plae,tzer and Mrs. Robert Arthur;
gave excellent reports on that,
meeting. The benediction was pro-
nounced by Mrs. Grange. A social
time was held with the Same group
serving a delicious .1unch.

Mark's Anglican Church met at the
home of Mr, and Mrs. Fordyce
Clark recently to honor two o its

and friends. 'Following this pre-
sentation, Mr. Bob Daer called Mr.
Christopher Hutchinson forward
and read an address. A farewell

the soeiety. Christopher leaves
soon to return to,his home in
England. Both of these members
have been very active in the work
of the AYPA of this church and
will be missed 'at their meetings.
