Knox Presbyterian Church, Gode-
rich, Rev. R. G. MacMillan :united
in marriage Nancy Idona, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Carl F. Kelly,
Chatham; and Mr. Martin. H.' Bos -
veld, Chatham, son of Mr. and Mrs.
J. Bosveld, Goderich. "Red poinset-
tias and white mums decorated the

Mr. Kelly .gave . his daughter's
hand in marriage. The bride wore
a wedding gown of white brocaded
satin with fitted torso, scoop neck-
line and very full cocktail le'bgth
'skirt. A coronet of seed pear
held. her shoulder -length veil. The
bride carried a cascade „arrange-
ment of red, roses. •
Attending the couple .were Mrs.
John Luyt and Mr. Hank ,Sennema.
The matron of honor wore a cock-
tail length dress -of red—velvet.
white feather . hat and nosegay of
white mums.
Following' the ceremony, guests
were received in•the banquet room
of the Club Grill in Goderich. A
blue dress of brocaded silk and
black . accessories were worn by
Mrs. Kelly, mother of the bride.
The ,,room's mother was dressed
in cocoa brown .with darker brown
accer.ories•
Mr. and 'Mrs. Bosveld will be ,
residing at 95 Adelaide street,!
Chatham. The bride chose a navy
tweed dress, navy accessories and
powder blue coat for the wedding
trip, after which they sailed for
Europe.

MRS. GEORGE F. HARRIS
Funeral services for Mrs. George
F. Harris were held on• Monday
afternoon at Stiles funeral, home,
with interment in Dungannon ceme-
tery. Rev. Roy D. Kennedy, of
.Dungannon, officiated..
Mrs. Barris was the for -trier
Caroline Luise Andrews --and she
'was ,born in Goderich Township,
82 years ago. ller parents were
the late John Andrews and Mary.
Salkeld. She attended S.S. No. 1
public school, the Goderich Col-
legiate-Institute
ol-
legiateInstitute and later the Ham-
ilton Model School. • After - her
marriage to George F. Harris, she
moved to Ashfield Township • to
what was then known as Cransford
village' where she_continued,.to. re-
side until • 1956 when she and her
husband retired to Goderich. She
had been in failing health lately
and died at Alexandra Hospital
on Friday last. She was a member
of Dungannon United Church and
a life member of the W.M.S.
Besides 'her husband she is sur-
vived by fine son, Everett; a daugh-
ter, Mrs. W. II. (Florence) Talmay,
both of Goderich; five grandchild-
ren and one great=granddaughter.
The , nallhearcrs at the funeral
were. Terence Hunter; Colborne
Township; Leland Dunsmore, of
Stratford; Lawrence Salkeld, of
Lucknow; Arthur Elliott, of Dun-
gannon; David Courvoisier, of Ash-
field Township, and Amos Andrew,
of Goderich.

Mrs: Ellen Curran "'Shackteton;
iner 91st year, passed away 'Fri-

daughter .of the late Mr. and Mrs.
Robert Curran, of Ashfield, and
widow of the late William Shackles
ton, who passed away in 1916.
They retired from their Crewe dis-
trict farm in 1910 to live in Dun-
gannon. ,
She is survived by one son,
Elmer, of Pleasant ,Ridge,' Mich.,
and three step -daughters, Mrs.
Mary Reed, Port Elgin; Mrs John
(Ida) McWhinney, Mrs. William J.
Larkin, ^New Toronto; two grand-

son of Mr. and Mrs Charles Wal-
ters, of Goderich, and was born -
here -64 years ago. After operating
a barber shop on Kingston street
for awhile, he moved to London
where he conducted a barber ,shop
for' over 35 years. Ile lived at 8
Johnston street, London. "
He is survived by his- wife, the
former Gladys _Mann, and a dattghi•
ter, Mrs.' S. Bailey, of Kitchener,.
and four sons, Ross, of Cornwall;
Edward. of Detroit; Douglas; • of
Kingston, and Lorne, at home. He
also has a brother, Roy, of De-•
.troit, and three sisters, Mrs. C. Bell,
of London, formerly of Goderich;
Mrs. A. McGregor ,and Mrs. W.
Smale, of Detroit. •
The funeral service was on Mon-
day at the Needham Memorial
chapel . with burial in • Woodland
cemetery. Mrs. Geo. McCabe, and
Mr. and Mrs: Jack Reis', of Gode-
rich, - and Mr. and Mrs. Lorne
Rodges., - Gollerich Township, at-
tended the funeral. - '

WIN AT LEAMINGTON

Leamington 2-0 . in an exhibition
hockey . match at Leamington on
Friday. The -game -was played in
connection with the International
Pee Wee Hockey Tournament held
there last Friday and Saturday.
In the tournament held, Sarnia
captured the "A" division champ-
ionthip, Strathroy the 'B" champ-
ionship and Lambeth the "C" cham-
pionship. Several members of the
Goderich Lions Club, .,headed by
Guy Emerson, • chairman of the
Young Canada Week committee,
accompanied the Goderich -pee wee
hockey team to Leamington.
