-when the-- Dungannon Fall Fair
holds its 100th anniversary • cele-
bration on Friday, October 3rd.
The impressiVe, •new centennial
gates at, the entrance to the fair
grounds have been completed and
will be dedicated by Rev. Roy Ken-
nedy olDungannon United Church.
Official opening ceremony will be
conducted by L. E. Cardiff, M.P.
The presentation of the gates will
be made by F. A. Lashley, director
of Agricultural Societies Branch,
Ontario Department of Agriculture.

ance. As usual, there will bean
exciting program of horse races.
Both cattle and horse exhibits
are expected to be larger than
ever this year
The baby contest will be in two
divisions—under six months and
also from six to 12 months. -
' The inside exhibits will definite-
„ly be more numerous than ever
before. The exhibits of "women

fine arts, domestic science, pie and
cake competitions, etc. There will
be many attractive displays by the
school children.
• The day's program will be con-
cluded with a dance in the Agricul-
tural Hall.
