Plans were made for the next meeting on Monday, October 6fh, when a guest speaker will be present. An in- vitation will be sent to the Gode- rich, Clinton, Blyth and Brussels Horticulture Societies. Guests were received by the bride's mother, Mrs. Hunking and the groorifs mother, Mrs. Dewar. Guests were directed by Mrs. Joseph Hunking and Miss Jean Dewar. who also were in charge of the guest book. Mrs. Margaret Manning, grandmother of the bride, and Mrs. William Hunk- ing, aunt of the bride, presided. at the tea table during the 'after- noon: • Miss Grace Dewar, aunt of the groom, and Mrs. Prank Tam- blyn, aunt of the bride, presided in the evening. Serving in the afternoon were Mrs. Ted Hunking and Mrs. William Manning and in the evening these ladies were as- sisted by Mrs. L6rffe-TftTnkttigrMrs:- Stewart Ament and Mrs. Wilmer Howatt.
