FASTER THAN
Canada's population, now 'last the 17
•million mark, should hit 13 Million soinetitne
in 1960. `'Vhen it does we w11 be able to
chalk up a -net gain of no less'tfian six million
people since 1945, a greater cumber than now
live in' Ontario, Most populous of the provinees.
A population increase of 50 per ce[it in the
15 post-war years must surely rank as one of
the world's fastest-growing countries. Yet we
>rerriain,i' withal, a ' giant in infancy, having
possibly fewer people to the habitable square
mile than any other nation on earth, A
sobering thought. .
REASONS .FO'
'Headaches are common among persons who
are emotionally disturbed under stress, tired,
allergic or addicted to. alcohol or tobacco.
Eight Rules .for H'eadacheoSufferers
1.. This is not a perfect world. ..l'erfec-

YOU REALIZE
Even so, the absorption by 12 million
people of half as many again in the brief space
of .a deeade-and-a-half .is something few Can-
adians would have predicted, back. in 1945.
Y.e'1 . lready it has been largely accomplished.

Million by immigration; An interesting ratio.
The fact that the post-war immigrant total
now exceeds 1,700,000 makes 1t 'more thali: ] e-

before 1960 is very old. -7 -Industry.

that perfection becomes a burden.

7. Approve of yourself. You are as good
