friends. Mrs.. Richardson is re-
covering from injuries, received in
a car accident early in the spring.
She sufifered a 'broker leg, back and
dislocated shoulder, and' has •itnt4
recently been hospitalized for three
months. She" is now well on her
way towards recovery. Mr. and
Mrs. Richardson and family . were
residents 'here about 20 years ago,
with.. Mr. Richardson, telephone
linesman. He is now employed at
Aylmer Airport.

patient . at Wingham hospital, is
recuperating at home now and able
to be out a little.

PORTER'S HILL, June 16.—The
June meeting of Grace . Church
W.A. was held. at the parsonage
in Bayfield. Mrs. Tom Sowerby,
vice-president, opened the meeting.
The Scripture and topic were read
by Mrs. Bill Townshend aTter
which Mrs.?'Sowerby led in prayer.
The roll call was answered by naxn-
ing , "Your favorite flower." The
secretary, Mrs. G. Manning, read
her report and also the treasurer,
Mrs. A. Harris. Mrs. Bill Cox gave
a humorous reading. The presi-
dent, Mrs. Lo khart, then took
charge of the.buness. Plans were
made for a suppper, to be held in
July: Mrs. W, ilmer Harrison and
Mrs. Tom Sowerby brought the
talent money articles. Mrs. Pea-
cock served a lunch.
Those attending" the Holstein
Breeders trip recently from Port-
er's Hill were: Mr. and Mrs. Bob
Harris, Ray. Cox, Wilmer -Riddell,
Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Betties, 'Allen

On June 6th about 36 relatives
and friends gathered at the home
of Mr. and Mrs. Arlie Lockhart on

Show Corning
Goderich Memorial. Arena will
be rocking next Thursday night,
June 26, when jack Kingston and
other stars of Main Street Jam-
boree will play for dancing.
Jack is no stranger to this dis-
trict; he was a well-known Wing -
ham radio personality before he
Went to Hamilton to join the Main
Street Jamboree, a radio' and TV
show.
Both Jade and !Wally Traugott,
another performer in the show,
have recorded songs under the
Quality lapel. Lloyd Bank, ,Eddy
Preston and Roly D'Eqn will be
with them when the show comes
to Goderich.
There will be modern and rock
'n' roll dancing as well as old time
dancing. The show's appearance
here is sponsored by the local
arena.

Canadian Autorama by Dennis
Steep and Norm Coates, of, Gode-
rich. Their car will be exhibited
in the antique class at the auto
show, which will be held in Lon-
don June 23 -28. --It is reported
that John Graf also plans t� exhibit

WiLFRED T. O'LOUGiILIN
Requiem High Mass was sung at
10 a.m., at 'St. Joseph's Church,
Kingsbridge on ,Saturday, June 7,
for Wilfred T. O'Loughlin, whose
-hath occurred at De -1R t on Jiine
4. The pallbear'ers were Joseph
Adelmann and Ronald Friend, of
Detroit, Frank Moran, Cyril, John
and Vincent Austin, of Ashfield.
Interment was in Kingsbridge
cemetery.
He was the eldest sor. of the
late Bernard O'Loughlin and Abi-
^gail O'Neill. Born in Ashfield
Township, he spent the 'greater
part of his' life in Detroit, where
he worked with the Ford Motor
spector. 'He was a member of St.
Agnes. Church, Detroit, and the
nights of Columbus: He took an
•a 'tine *hoot in e4hleties all his
life.
Predeceasing him. was his eldest
sister,' Mamie. Unmarried, he is
survived by two brothers, Leonard
and Mathew, of Ashtielo, and a

length skirt of pure Silk organza
oyer hooped crinoline of . crystal
charm. Her triple tier veil fell
from a pillbox headdress of white
lace and opalescent sequins with
tiny net ruffles across the crown.
She carried ,a white prayer book
'arrangement of white and pink
sweetheart roses, feathered carna-
tions and stephanotis with green
myrtle knotted into the long
streamers.

of the groom, as maid of, honor,

The groom was attended by Mr.

A buffet reception followed at
the home of the, bride. The guests

the brides., She was assisted by the

of Goderich.
The couple will honeymoon at
Lake Placid, New York. On their
return, Mr. and ,Mrs. Tomlinson
*ill reside in Kingston where -Mr,
Tomlinson is a member of CKWIS
TV' staff. Guests were •present
from ,Goderich, London, Toronto,
Kingston and Stratford.
Sitting in front of a 35 or 50 h.p.
motor is a wonderful form of sum-
