go on daylight saving. on April

prayer. Mrs. W. J. Craig played
soft music while the Thank -offer-

Plunkett read an Easter reading.

Walkerburn Culb Meets. — The
monthly meeting of the Walker -
burn Club was held last week at
the home of Mrs. Lorne Trunking.
Mrs. James McDougall, the presi-
dent, was in charge. The club
project this, .year, is sending old
woollens to Preston sa the time
was spent getting these ready to
go. The pianist for the Meeting
was Mrs. James Jackson. The next
meeting will be at Mrs. J. Mc
Dougall's. A dainty lunch was
served by the hostess, ,assisted by
Mrs. Leonard Archambault, Mrs.
Stuart Ament and Mrs. Percy
Vincent.
-Easter Services.—The altar of
Knox Presbyterian •Church was
adorned on Easter Sunday with a
beautiful bouquet of flowers placed
there in memory of the late Mr.
F. 0. 'Mcllveen by his wife, Mrs.
F. ,0, Mellveen, of Oshawa. Dur-
ing the service, Misses. Helen and
Betty Youngblut sang • "The Old '
Rugged Cross." After .the Easter
message was given by' the minister,
Rev. D. J. Lane, prizes were given
to the children for perfect church
attendance and memory work.
Those receiving Bibles were: Joyce
