Booster tickets are now on sale, and proceeds will be used to help finance bus transportation so that the local teams can play return games in Guelph. The first game on Friday night will .get under way at 7.30. An interesting sidelight: Wayne Bissett, formerly of Goderich, `will be tending the twine for Guelph Pee. Wees. Wayne, son of Mr. and -Mrs. Don Bissett, last year won the trophy awarded to ',the best' goalie in the -Legion Squirt League at Goderich. COUNCIL oTHANKED• In a letter from Goderich Junior Chamber of Commerce, Town Council was . thanked for the splendid co-operatioff which it gave to the Jaycees' Christmas lighting contest. Council, led by `Ernie 'Fisher, the present mayor, took an active part in encouraging the contest.
