scoreless tie in the first game of
the Pee Wee Motor League on
Saturday morning. Both teams
had many chances to score but
the goalies were outstanding.
In 'the- second game, Rouse, and
.TGA'played to a 3.3 -.tie. For Rouse
Peter .Bettger tallied . twice while
Telford Bissett notched the other.

Sheaffers defeated Studebakers 4-1
Don Yeo was the top, scorer of
the day, scoring three goals. Wayne

his linemates picked up one goal

Before 550 fans in London Tues
day night, the Lou Balls edged into
a 2-1 first period lead, increased
it to 6-2 in the second and finished
on top 13-3.
London. scored some "flukey"
goals -in the first stages which
seemed to Jake a lot of the steam
out of the Goderich crew. Ron
Williamson in the Sailors' nets was
credited with 41 stops, while Clarl;
in the London goal faced 31 shots.

Due Here Friday
Another hockey triple -header is
planned for the arena Friday night
when Guelph Squirts, --Pee Wees
and .Bantams will do battle with
their Goderich counterparts.
Booster tickets are now on sale,
and proceeds will be used to help
finance bus transportation so that
the local teams can play return
games in Guelph. The first game
on Friday night will .get under
way at 7.30.
An interesting sidelight: Wayne
Bissett, formerly of Goderich, `will
be tending the twine for Guelph
Pee. Wees. Wayne, son of Mr.
and -Mrs. Don Bissett, last year
won the trophy awarded to ',the
best' goalie in the -Legion Squirt
League at Goderich.
