Fred Courtney, of Toronto, are spending a few days with relatives here Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Austin left here last week to spend Christmas holidays with their family in Tor- onto and Milton. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Frayne and anad �Pr. Frayne visited with relatives 'Kitchener s and FH'essonb during time past week. Word was received recently a�f the death of Thomas, Sullivan, of Brandon Man. (formerlY of this parish) oh Dedember 7th by his sister, Mrs. Edward Foley. Mr. Dennis Dalton of the S.S. Forestdale, Hamilton, us holidaying at his home here. Mrs. 'Gilbert Frayne visited with relatives in Detroit during the past week. Cpngratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Sinnett, of Detroit (nee Yvonne Vassella) on the birth of a son in Detroit hospifal on Decem- ber 2nd, 1957, Miss Marie Johnston and her sister, Rita dna, of wGoderielln, spent 7 t week -end he �with their l�rand- mother,, Mrs. Edward Foley, and other relatives here. Mr. and 1ilrse Jos. Garvey and friends, from Toronto, were week- end visitor here. Mrs. J. Kasper, of Grosse Point, Mich., and her sister, Mrs. Ursula Hibert, of 'Detroit, are visiting with relatives here. The Scripture was read by Mrs. ►+ager. The secretary and treasurer gave their reports, showing a very profitable year. The roll call was answered with a_ gift for the Children's Md. Reports were given by the card convener, visiting committee and quilt even- mittee. It was decided to give Oki to the M. and M. fund and $100 to the Board of Stewerds. The ei p;� s dent thanked the ladies for the co-operation shown in the past year and a vote of thaanks was given the president for her work. Mrs. Wilmer Harrison and Mrs. Reid Torrance brought in the new slate of oilcers for next year as follows: president, Mrs. Arlie Lock- hart; lst vice..president, 1ijrs.
