at his home here.
Mrs. 'Gilbert Frayne visited with
relatives in Detroit during the past
week.

a son in Detroit hospifal on Decem-

PORTER'S HILL
ETJi it HILL, Dee. 9. -The
annual meeting of the Porter's Hill
W.A. was held at the home. of Mrs.
John Manning. The Scripture was
read by Mrs. ►+ager. The secretary
and treasurer gave their reports,
showing a very profitable year. The
roll call was answered with a_ gift
for the Children's Md. Reports
were given by the card convener,
visiting committee and quilt even-
mittee. It was decided to give Oki
to the M. and M. fund and $100
to the Board of Stewerds. The

p;� s dent thanked the ladies for
the co-operation shown in the past
year and a vote of thaanks was
given the president for her work.
Mrs. Wilmer Harrison and Mrs.
Reid Torrance brought in the new
slate of oilcers for next year as
follows: president, Mrs. Arlie Lock-
hart; lst vice..president, 1ijrs. Tom
Sowerby; 2nd vice-president, Mrs.
