Loses License The magistrate lashed out at reckless motorists after he had convicted Gordon J. Smith, 21, ol` Cypress street, on a charge of careless driving. Smith, the owner of a high-powered convertible, was fined $25 and costs or two weeks in jail, and his driving license was suspended for three months. • The youthful driver was nabbed' by Constables G. The ' vehicles went through two stop streets. • "I followed them down Britan- nia road at speeds of 75 mph, but failed to close the distance," stated the constable.
